Brentacre Instagram Giveaway: Better Car Care October 2026

Promoter

  1. The promoter is Brentacre Insurance Services Limited (company number 02081054), Phoenix Way, Garngoch Industrial Estate, Swansea, SA4 9WF (“Brentacre”, “we”, “us”). Brentacre is part of Specialist Risk Group.
  2. By entering, you agree to these terms and conditions.

Eligibility

  1. The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 or over at the time of entry.
  2. Employees of Brentacre and Specialist Risk Group, their immediate families, and anyone else professionally connected with the competition may not enter.
  3. We may ask the winner for proof of age, identity and UK residency before awarding the prize. If they cannot provide it, we may select another winner.

How to Enter

  1. The competition opens at 9:00 on 24/10/2026 and closes at 9:00 on 31/10/2026 (seven days). Entries after the closing time will not count.
  2. To enter, you must do all of the following during the competition period:
    1. Follow @brentacre on Instagram;
    2. Like the competition post;
    3. Share the competition post to your Instagram Story and tag @brentacre in it; and
    4. Tag three friends in the comments of the competition post.
  3. Your Instagram account must be public for the duration of the competition so we can check your entry. We will check that every step has been completed. Incomplete entries will not count.
  4. Only one entry is allowed per person and per Instagram account. Tagging more friends or commenting more than once will not give you extra entries. Entries made using multiple, fake or bulk-created accounts will be disqualified.
  5. Entry is free and no purchase is necessary. You do not need to hold, or take out, an insurance policy with Brentacre to enter or win.

The Prize

  1. There is one prize: Better Car Care: Better Thickness Alkaline Snow Foam (1 litre), Better Suds Concentrated Car Shampoo (1 litre), Better Gloss Quick Detailer (1 litre), Better “Lie Detector” Twisted Loop Drying Towel & Better Hanging Air Freshener, with a retail value of £67.
  2. The prize is as stated. It is not transferable and there is no cash alternative. If the prize becomes unavailable, we may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

Selecting and Notifying the Winner

  1. The winner will be chosen at random from all valid entries using a digital prize wheel, within 7 days of the closing date. The draw will be recorded or witnessed by someone independent of the competition.
  2. We will contact the winner by direct message from the official @brentacre account only. We will never ask for payment, bank details or passwords. Please report any account claiming to be us.
  3. The winner must reply within 7 days with their full name, UK delivery address and proof of age. If they do not, we may draw another winner.
  4. We will send the prize to a UK address within 28 days of receiving the winner’s details.
  5. The winner’s Instagram handle and first name may be announced on our social media channels. On request, we will provide the winner’s first name and county to anyone who asks within one month of the closing date, as required by the CAP Code.

Instagram

  1. This competition is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram or Meta. By entering, you release Instagram and Meta from any liability in connection with the competition.

Use of Your Content

  1. By entering, you agree that Brentacre may repost, share and feature your entry (including your comments, Story share and Instagram handle) on our social media channels and website, without payment, for marketing purposes. We will credit you by your Instagram handle.
  2. If you would rather we did not use your content, you can tell us at any time at admin@brentacre.co.uk and we will stop using it from that point.

Your Data

  1. We will use entrants’ details only to run the competition. We will use the winner’s details only to verify eligibility and deliver the prize. We will not use them for marketing unless you separately agree.
  2. Your data will be handled in line with UK data protection law and our privacy notice at www.brentacre.co.uk/policies.

General

  1. We may disqualify any entry we reasonably believe breaks these terms, or is offensive, fraudulent or made by automated means.
  2. We may change, suspend or cancel the competition if events outside our reasonable control make it necessary. We will keep any changes fair to entrants and tell you on our Instagram account.
  3. We are not responsible for entries lost or not received because of technical problems with Instagram or your device. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.
  4. Our decision on the winner is final. We will not enter into correspondence about the draw, except as set out in clause 17.
  5. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
